Definitely Human  ·  daily

One documented teardown a day. Real numbers.

Every day I diagnose a real B2B firm's positioning, funnel, or outreach. Live client work, not hypotheticals. Definitely Human is the field log: what I found, the actual numbers, and the one lesson you can check against your own firm before your coffee’s done.

Under two minutes a day. Unsubscribe anytime, no sequence to escape.

What a brief looks like

One firm, one diagnosis, one lesson. Recent field work these come from:

The differentiator that wasn’t. An e-signature founder was sure he knew his edge. A 48-hour diagnosis showed the market couldn’t see it. His words after: “I thought I had the right differentiator, but now I learned that it was not.”
The homepage that filters out buyers. A firm with real proof (~1,600 monthly searches captured in a category that barely existed 18 months earlier), and what its site had to stop saying first.
Why the sharp number stays. Two AI models told a founder to soften her headline. The one trained on her own doctrine said keep it. It was right, and the reason is the whole argument for writing your point of view down.

Who it’s for

Founders and owners who are good at the work and losing on the marketing. Consultants, technical firms, agencies, local businesses. If you’ve ever watched a competitor with weaker work and a simpler story take something you should have won, or asked an AI for help with your marketing and gotten back something that could belong to anybody, this is the daily record of why that happens and what fixes it.

Why daily

Because the work is daily. I run diagnoses, outreach, and category work for real firms every day, and each one produces a lesson worth two minutes. No content calendar, no recycled frameworks. If nothing happened worth writing, I say what broke instead. Everything in the brief traces to something that actually ran.
